SPOUT

Find out the length or reach of your faucet’s spout (also called the projection). The distance between the faucet body (where the water enters the faucet) and the aerator is usually 8 to 10 inches for a kitchen faucet. However some oversized faucets have a reach of 11 to 16 inches.

Faucet height refers to the distance between a faucet and the sink, while spout height is the width of the spout of a faucet.

Spout faucets are connected directly to the water supply line, and come in a variety of styles. The handles for spouts are mounted on the side of the sink or faucet, requiring you to reach up to turn it on or off.

Wall mounted SPOUT can be 6, 9, or 12 inches long to accommodate both a variety of sinks and a variety of installation settings. Wall mounted SPOUTs have to clear not only the rim of the sink but also any distance between the wall and the sink.
